I woke up at 3AM to the sound of whistling wind and thought to myself OH NO we are in trouble! Every girl with long hair knows what I am talking about. Natural wind is NOT our friend, NO SIREE! It is not the same thing as sitting pretty in front of a controlled fan.
Immediately, I pictured my hair getting stuck to my glossed lips, and taming flyaways while juggling two beautiful, bouncing boys. Eek! However, after managing to get everyone dressed on time (YAY!), our fabulous photog (LINK: Lindsay Konopa) and I decided to go for it!
The leaves just started to turn to our classic Virginia fall colors and the historic Manassas Battlefield was the perfect location for our woodsy fall session. Aston was a trooper and Pierson enjoyed collecting leaves with his daddy. He's a competitive little guy and challenged Geoff at who could find the biggest leaf. I'm so glad we captured this special time in our lives and I can't wait to frame photos and make a Chatbook album.
